Data & users
Shipping the app is only the beginning — data keeps piling up. This chapter covers where your data lives and where to find it.
Your data lives in three places
In the "Data" group of the "More" panel:
| Tab | What it stores | Typical contents |
|---|---|---|
| Database | Structured tables and records | User-submitted forms, articles, orders, check-in records |
| Storage | Files uploaded by users | Avatars, attachments, generated images |
| Users | Accounts created through the app's sign-in | The app's own user list |
All of it is live: when a visitor submits a message in the app, the row appears in the Database tab immediately.
Purely static apps don't have these
Pages like company websites, landing pages, and portfolios usually don't need a database, so "Database / Users" will be empty. Want your app to store things? Just say it in the chat:
- "Add a contact form to the app and store the submissions in the database"
- "Add a backend with user sign-up and sign-in"
It will create the tables and write the APIs automatically — after that, these tabs will have data.
Storage limit and expansion
Apps hosted on the platform have a default 2GB storage limit (database, storage, and user data combined). As you approach the limit, deployments may be restricted; check usage and buy more under "More → Data":
| Expansion tier | Cost |
|---|---|
| 2–5GB | 150 credits / 30 days |
| 5–10GB | 400 credits / 30 days |
If you'd rather not pay, you can also move the data out to your own Cloudflare resources — ask the AI in the chat to help with the migration.
Two common questions
- Worried about deleting something? Let the AI make data changes — it inspects the structure first, and confirms with you before important operations;
- Can I migrate in bulk? The Database tab lets you view and edit records directly; full migration is an advanced operation — ask the AI for a plan in the chat before doing it.
