Roll back when you break something
Breaking something is no big deal. Every change you make is recorded, and you can go back to any earlier version anytime — like save points in a game.
Find the "Rollback" button
Your app has two sets of change history, and both let you roll back:
| Where you are | What you see | How to roll back |
|---|---|---|
| In the chat stream | The commit card after each change | Click "Rollback" on the card |
| The "Repo" tab | The full commit history (in time order) | Click "Rollback" next to any commit |
"Repo" is in the view switcher in the top right: Preview / Code / Docs / Repo / More.
What happens when you roll back
- Clicking "Rollback" first asks "Roll back?" — it only executes when you click "Confirm", so an accidental click is harmless;
- The app returns to how it looked at that point and redeploys automatically — the live URL stays the same;
- History is never deleted: the rollback itself becomes a new record, and you can roll back from it again later — like turning back time and continuing from there.
Good times to use it:
- You kept tweaking a color scheme and it got worse → roll back to the version before the changes;
- A new feature broke an old one → roll back, then re-explain the requirement in the chat;
- You want to compare two approaches → roll back to version A, then to version B.
