minibuildai

Get started in 5 minutes

New here? Follow this chapter and in a few minutes you'll have an app you can open and share with anyone — no coding required.

Three steps to your first app

Step 1: Say what you want in one sentence

Open the home page and type one sentence into the input box in the middle, just like describing a request to a colleague.

What you want Try writing
A budgeting tool A small tool that tracks daily expenses, with a monthly total view
A habit tracker page A water-drinking check-in page that shows how many days in a row I've kept up
A company website A company site introducing our products and contact info, with a contact form
A mini game A guess-the-number mini game that gives hints when you guess wrong

Keep three things in mind: who it's for, what problem it solves, and what it should look like. No need to write things like "build a system based on some tech stack".

Step 2: Watch it build itself

Once you submit, you don't need to babysit it — it works through the steps on its own. Meanwhile, on the right you can see at any time:

View What it's for
Preview What the app looks like right now — click, scroll and try it directly
Code Which files it changed (no need to understand them)
Docs Its notes on the project
More Settings for data, users, secrets, domains, SEO, and more

If you already have reference images, click "Add" on the left of the input box to upload screenshots, and it will follow them.

Once it looks good enough, click "Deploy". In a few dozen seconds you'll get a URL — copy it, send it to anyone, and they can open and use it right away.

Quick tour of the interface

Where What it is
Top navigation Find ideas / App gallery / Help center
Left chat area Where you talk to it, and where it reports progress
Right main area Preview / Code / Docs, plus the "More" panel
Around the input box Type (App / Slides / General), "Plan", "Enhance prompt", file uploads

Three things to remember

Changing requirements doesn't mean starting over. Just say "change the primary color to blue" or "add a search box" — it only touches what needs to change.

If you break it, you can go back. Every reply is a save point; you can return to any earlier state.

Try ideas on a cheaper model first. A low tier is enough while experimenting — switch to a stronger tier only once it works.

Three questions new users ask most

Question Answer
I can't code at all — can I still use it? Yes. You just describe what you want in plain words and let it handle the rest.
Who owns what I make? You do. The code and data are yours, and you can export them anytime.
Will it be expensive? You only pay for what you use, and credits never expire. Starting with a cheaper tier is the most economical way to test.
